Trying out my new stove and oven!

Today my main focus was to get to know my new stove and oven and I chose Samsung.

After many recommendations as far as quality and customer service I decided to go with a two oven glass Samsung stove.

I'm so excited to use it that I included a few recipes below.

I have had a gas range since I moved into our home 5 years ago and have had electric appliances all of my marriage and getting used to a gas stove was a challenge.  I stayed with the gas stove until I felt I needed something more advanced and the stove I purchased has a lot more to offer than my gas stove did.

I do a great deal of baking and cooking so I wanted not only a double oven but also a convection oven.  This stove has all three.  It has a ceramic top and although I wasn't sure I wanted one again I knew that the gas range was very hard to keep clean and that bothered me.  I like to keep my kitchen as tidy as I can and I know the ceramic cleans up well.  Years ago I had one and figured I'd go back to that particular type of surface!

To explain the stove situation a bit more.  We have moved because of my hubby's work many times so I've had the opportunity to try both regular electric, ceramic and gas stoves.

Here are a few pictures of my baking and cooking accomplishments today!

Cranberry, Pecan Scones

Biscotti with Chocolate chips

Penne Casserole

Yummy!

Today I baked  Biscotti and Scones as well as Baked Penne.  I used both convection and regular bake as well as stove top and with my first attempt to do what I normally do on a regular day this stove performed wonderful.

Yes, I can relate!! I still have not figured everything out with the oven/convection oven plus combo microwave, convection and broiler. I need to find the instructions again to try to figure it out! You look like you have everything working well on yours!

Hi Denise:

I guess it'll just take some time. I keep my instruction booklet by my side and refer to it all the time.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I love hearing from you. Do you like yours and how long have you had the new combo?
