Christmas 2025

A great day in every way. Missed our grandsons especially and their parents too but we FaceTimed so it was all good!

Today I’m staying in and cherishing every minute.

It’s good to take a day off from baking and cooking but what to eat??? lol lots of cookies but it was a basic homemade gnocchi by our son and he didn’t allow for leftovers!!!!!

I made sauce with pork country style ribs, meatballs and a huge salad.

The charcuterie board was basic but perfect. No big fuss this year and so we had more time to

Giving thanks! 2025

Today we had an untraditional day after Thanksgiving lunch with our son and his family.

To say I was thrilled would not be exaggerating. We talked, ate noshies and subs and the conversation couldn't have been any better. I love getting to know my granddaughters better and better every year. Their jobs. Their opinions . Their adult lives. So interesting!

The grands through the years

I can’t believe how quickly time has gone. Enjoy your grandchildren from the moment they are born. Don’t miss any special program or event they are in. If they don’t live close to you make a special time to spend with them. Visit even if it’s just a few times a year. You must make the effort. Don’t wait for their parents to it. Here are a few moments in time my hubby and I cherish.
