My kitchen, my comfort zone!

I had never truly realized how important baking and cooking in my OWN kitchen would be.  It can be the  smallest space but you OWN it and it's yours!  I have less than month cooking in a kitchen that isn't mine and I'll tell you "I can't wait to get back to mine".  I have definitely taken for granted the kitchen I now so long for..Sad but so true!!

When you enjoy baking and cooking as I do  it really doesn't matter how large your space is, what really matters is that it is YOUR space. Getting some of the most efficient tools has made my fun time in the kitchen so much easier.  I did manage to create good meals for my family with what I had at the time but I now realize a lot of time and energy is saved when you have the proper equipment and that even means in the kitchen.

When I was starting out I couldn't afford the fancy upright mixer and the portable hand mixer worked fine but if I were to do it all over again, I'd save and put it on the top of my wish list.

I did go and buy some paring knives, a whisk, a small cutting board while I was here..I couldn't do without them but those items I'll take along home with me. Am I nuts, probably?  I do think there are other crazy foodies like me out there!  Hopefully I am not alone with this kitchen obsession..

Happy Baking and Cooking from an obsessive but fun loving foodie!

Here are a few of the items I wish I had here!

I have to say Kitchen Aid is the best (I love hands free mixing)

My favorite spatula.Sometimes large ones are way to wide
