From the heart! 2012

I am preparing for a trip to Philly this week to offer support to my brother who is undergoing Esophageal surgery.. 

He was diagnosed last September and he has undergone rigorous chemo and radiation treatments and now we are on the home stretch.  

If the last of his tests (Thursday) show he is all clear for surgery the surgery will be on Friday.  

Please pray for him to be strong and come through this very serious surgery with flying colors.

Update:

Unfortunately as much as he fought cancer took over and he passed away with his youngest daughter by his side.

Mom and I saw him two weeks before he passed and it was obvious he was struggling.

 I did give him his final haircut and brought him homemade cappelletti soup made especially for him.  I heated some and he told me how much he was enjoying it. Those two final wishes made me feel so happy.

And as luck would have it i did give mom her final haircut and a facial too. I feel very very blessed.

My brother passed away on January 17 2014.  Mom February 13,2017.
