Holiday or any time Peanut Butter/Chocolate Bar cookies:

 Put these on your baking list this year!  This is a great holiday cookie bar recipe.  This cookie bar recipe is one that is not only an easy recipe to make but kids love it!!  Cookie bar cookies are a great choice for ease in serving!  I made these and we all love them!!!  My niece loved the chocolate top and drizzle!!  Yummy!

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease 13 x9 inch pan
Mix sugars and margarine in large bowl until well blended.  Stir in flour, oats, peanut butter, baking soda, vanilla, salt and egg.  Spread in pan.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown,..immediately spread on chocolate chips.  Cool 5 minutes; spread chocolate evenly.  Drizzle with Easy Glaze.  Cut into approximately 24 squares.

Glaze:  Mix 1/3 cup confectionery sugar, 2 tablespoons peanut butter and 1 to 2 tablespoons milk or a bit more.  Thin enough to drizzle.
