This easy apple dessert can be eaten anytime; even for breakfast. I decided to add some yogurt to it to make it a little creamier. The power of yogurt! Tasty, creamy and healthy so why not add some apples, Cran raisins and make a healthy dish? **Feel free to add some walnuts or pecans too! and maybe a little whipped topping if you choose
Here is what I did:
Approximately 5 apples (I used 3 Braeburn and 2 Gala) peeled and cut into cubes
*If you want your apples a little softer use Macintosh or a softer cooking apple
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1-5.3 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 quick cooking oats
1/2 cup dried cranberries (optional) or raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts(optional)
Toss above making sure that yogurt is evenly distributed. Place in a greased baking dish. Bake 350 degrees approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
