Newman's Own Tomato Basil Bombolina Sauce: Rosa Gnocchi

I love my Newman's Own Products!  Today I'm making Rosa Gnocchi with or without spinach using Newman's Own Tomato Basil Bombolina Sauce. I love trying new products (I'm part of the Tastemakers program through Foodbuzz.and I have been 100% satisfied with Newman's brand.  I thought today I'd use my favorite boxed gnocchi along with some half and half added to the Tomato Basil sauce.  Here is the recipe.  I'll be posting of video shortly( thanks to the Flip Video camera they sent me).  I am definitely going to buy the sauce again!   It saves time using Newman's Products and  with our busy lives Newman's Own helps us put together a quick meal the Newman's Way!!

Saute Gnocchi in Newman's Own Tomato Basil Bombolina Sauce with half and half for a few minutes.

Baked in oven at 350 degrees until mozzarella cheese melts.

Yummy!

1 pkg. store bought gnocchi (I used packaged gnocchi) or pasta cooked according to directions
1 1/2 cups baby spinach washed(optional)
1 cup Newman's Own Tomato Basil Bombolina Sauce(rinse cup with a slight amount of water and add to sauce)
1/4 to 1/2 cup half and half
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Place 1 cup Newman's Tomato Basil sauce in skillet on low temperature, add half and half and slight amount of water..Cook on medium heat until it starts to bubble..Add boxed gnocchi or cooked pasta. Simmer for a few minutes then add washed spinach(optional)and heat until spinach starts to wilt..Serve with some grated cheese...Note: This is a great skillet meal but you can also set oven to 350 degrees and place all in a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese melts.. A great 30 minute or less meal.  Enjoy!  Happy Cooking!
