Here's a new recipe I haven't tried as of yet but thought you may be interested in making using ground turkey. More and more recipes are using ground turkey for a healthier version so I'm thinking you may also use low fat sour cream and skim milk for a healthy meal.

A new Stroganoff using ground turkey.
1 lb ground turkey
1 small onion, finely diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup peas
1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1/3 cup 1 % milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup light sour cream
hot cooked egg noodles
Directions:

In a skillet, cook turkey and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain.

Add mushrooms and peas. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Stir in the soup, milk, garlic, salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 5-10 minutes.

Stir in sour cream; heat gently. Do not boil. Serve over noodles.
Note: Thicken slightly with 1 to 2 tsp. cornstarch if you think you'd like it a thicker consistency. (mix with slight amount of water before adding to recipe).
