I'm still baking! and giving some Cookie/ Bar suggestions:

Peanut Butter- Chocolate Squares!!!

I am bringing some easy desserts to my son and daughter in law's for Thanksgiving..This year I'm having it easy or so I thought!  Going to their house for early dinner and later on to our daughter and son in law's...Just can't wait to see our grandchildren!!!!

Among my bring along treats will be these Peanut Butter- Chocolate Squares..Here is the recipe and some pics too!



1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees..Grease 9 x13 inch pan
Mix sugar and butter in large bowl until well blended..Stir in flour, oats, peanut butter, baking soda, vanilla and salt and egg..Spread in pan..It will be a thin layer.



Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown..Immediately sprinkle with chocolate morsels....Cool 5 minutes and spread chocolate evenly..Drizzle with easy glaze..Recipe below!

1/3 confectionery sugar
2 tablespoons peanut butter
about 2 tablespoons of milk or more..You want it to be thin enough to drizzle.

Makes approximately 24 squares..
