Fresh Cantalope! Try this for an quick and easy dessert!

I'll never forget living in a small town and that my husband traveled with his job and I didn't get grocery shopping very often.

 I had small children so when I got unexpected company my mind went to what will I serve them....

 I had just bought 2 cantaloupe's and I was fortunate to have vanilla ice cream in my freezer.  I offered them some and boy did they like it ! So remember this summer to buy some sweet cantaloupes for a tasty and quick dessert.

*** Another quick tip when picking a ripe cantaloupe..At the end of the cantaloupe there is a green spot..Press there and it should be soft..Happy Summer!
